The restaurant sits right inside Hoa Lu Ancient Town, next to the water pavilion stage. The seasonal menu features Ninh Binh specialties: charcoal-grilled goat with wild betel leaf, stir-fried freshwater shrimp, and seasonal stir-fried greens. A vegetarian set is available on request.
19:00 — Ky Lan Lake Cruise
Board a boat to explore Ky Lan Lake, at the foot of Ky Lan Mountain, strung with glowing lanterns after dark. The cruise lasts about 45–60 minutes. You can release a floating lantern on the lake and make a wish.
20:00 — Stroll Through Hoa Lu Ancient Town
Free time to explore the Ancient Town and photograph the architecture lit up at night. On Saturdays & Sundays, there are also free traditional folk performances by the lake.
20:45 — Hero of the Reed Flag Show
An outdoor live-action stage retelling the journey of Dinh Bo Linh, from a buffalo-herding boy to Emperor, founder of the Dai Co Viet dynasty. Four acts: The Legend of Hoa Lu → A Hero’s Childhood → Uniting the Twelve Warlords → Festival of Unification. Runtime: 60 minutes.
After the Show — Check In at Hoa Lu Hotel
Check in and rest for the night. Breakfast is served at the hotel the next morning before you continue your journey.
